So I played Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure with all the new figures I got from Gamestop's buy 2 get 3 free sale. Turns out some of the figures I thought would work in the first game, didn't, so I had to pick up a few more. Why? Because this game encourages new figure purchases every minute of gameplay. 

I traded in EDF 4.1 and a few other things and got Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below for PS4 for $17. I'll get to it this weekend. See pic:

So I set up my PS4 the other day. This thing is smaller and lighter than the XBO. I like that. I thought the setup would take a long time, you know, with Sony's usual long updating process, but it only took me a half hour to install the updates and sign into my profile. Yes! The only thing I'm not sure about is transfering licenses so I can play PSN games I owned on PS3. I'd push that button but I'm not sure the PSN games on PS3 will work on PS4, and I'm not sure the license transfer option on PS4 refers to PS3 games. I have to do some research on that.

Just finished this Taito arcade game collection on the PSP. Here's the game list:

I gave in and picked up Earth Defense Force 2 on Vita. This is the first release of this game in N.A. and it's only on VIta. I'd rather play it on a big screen, but I'll do what I can with this version. It was $30. Then I preordered Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam coming January 22 for 3DS. I can't wait for that. Here's a pic.

Just finished this book today. I liked it. It tells the story of a crisis that happens after the Covenant/Human war where Elites and Humans have to cooperate on a mission to the Forerunner Ark. The Ark is like the mothership of the Forerunners. It's where the Halo rings were made and managed.

Yes, my plan to spend each week of the year thinking about a specific year in the past has finally got to its end, and now I'm on this very year. 

I saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens today, finally finished with EDF: IA, tried Genma Onimusha, and spent some quality time with Indigo Prophecy. Details below.
