Confirmed: Ezio to Appear in SoulCalibur V [UPDATE] Release Date Also Announced

It's official! Our favorite Renaissance era assassin will be playable in SoulCalibur V.

The SoulCalibur series is no stranger to the concept of the cross game cameo.  Previous installments have seen Spawn, Yoda, Darth Vader, Heihachi and even Nintendo’s pointy eared Hylian, Link show up as bonus characters, so it only makes sense that the upcoming fifth game in the series will uphold this fine tradition.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 Review

Why so serious?

What is Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2? Is it Pokémon? Is it Dragon Quest? Is it Monster Hunter? Is it Monster Rancher? As I'd never played a Dragon Quest Monsters game before, I began to discover it has elements of all the monster-related games above, believe it or not. The variety of Pokémon, the skill-set making and monsters of Dragon Quest, the attempts to defeat giants who can maul a team of hunters, and the careful balance and planning of crafting and synthesizing a quality monster.

PlayBit Tonight: Cancelled!

Ratchet & Clank All4One just wasn't a very good title. I don't want to spend my time playing it anymore.

Instead, a new PlayBit is scheduled to occur on Saturday Night! Live! Be here at 8:30 PM EDT on Saturday Night to catch some of Trendy Entertainment's new game, the long-awaited Dungeon Defenders. See? I wouldn't just cancel one PlayBit on you all without rescheduling something (hopefully) better. After that comes another PlayBit, back on the regular schedule, Monday night! Right before this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Nintendo held a Japanese press event to comment on the status of the 3DS and announce a bevy of new titles including the juggernaut that is Monster Hunter 4.  Considering that it’s only been a little more than a month it comes as a surprise that Nintendo has announced that they will be holding another press event this Friday called, “Nintendo 3DS New Information Internet Presentation.”

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue Review Rewind

The secondary series tries to expand to reach a wider audience.

Jak and Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper. These are probably the platformers you think of when talking about the PS2. In an era that saw the genre lose its footing to first person shooters like Halo and Killzone, Sony’s second console still had a stable of successful platformers. However, some were cast aside, left to wallow in the abyss of subpar imitators. Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is one of those copycats. The series was never taken seriously despite its modest success with critics. This is mostly because the series does skew to a younger audience and truth be told, the aforementioned titles had more to offer. That’s not to say that this game has nothing to offer but only fans of the genre will want to get Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue.
