Every now and again a game will come along that defies classification. Such is the case with Asura’s Wrath, a mysterious game from CyberConnect2 and Capcom. Announced with little fanfare and even less information, Asura’s Wrath has been a difficult game to peg. Is it an action game? Is it a simple beat-'em-up, ala Final Fight? Is it a modern day Dragon’s Lair? Well, before I can answer those questions, I will need to perform a full physical of your gaming and anime tastes; please drop your pants. No? While only a downloadable title, this is one of the best of the Vita launch.

It's true; I'm in love with Drinkbox Studios' latest effort and PlayStation Vita launch title, Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack. I wish I could point to one individual aspect of the game and say, "that's it, that's why I love this game," but it's not that simple. The aggregation of varied and engaging gameplay, thoughtful puzzles, charm, humor, and even some well-placed Vita-specific features make this game a voyage that every Vita owner should not miss.

EA's basketball series returning after a three year hiatus.

Kyrie Irving, the NBA's No.1 overall draft pick for 2011, appears to have leaked EA Sports' intention to bring back the NBA Live name after a three year absence. Kotaku confirmed with EA Sports the name and the game's release this fall. "This fall we'll launch an all-new experience that captures the future of basketball with NBA Live 13," a spokesman said. "More to come soon."
