I spent most of Saturday at work, juggling regular duties and cleaning up after two games: pee-wee and a make-up senior varsity game. I was told the pee-wee game was the last of the season and I truly hope so. If there's anything that's ruined my weekends for the past 2 months, its those fucking pee-wee games. Granted, they don't make as big a mess as the crowds for the 7th, Junior and Senior games but they still provide a measly excuse to drag my ass up there. I'd rather finish everything on Friday.

I'm really bad about committing to this. The last 2 days have been more work heavy and I didn't have a lot to add other than "I hate school sports and working in horribly cold temperatures. Wah".

I missed the opportunity to post a blog yesterday but I had my hands tied up with work. Here's some choices of upcoming albums that I'm looking forward to.

I'm posting this under the assumption that the BaD-themed blogs were to start on the 3rd. If not, fuck it. It's the best I can do. I figure I start this off with 2014 movies that I'm anticipating. Tomorrow I'll focus on music, the next day games. Maybe I'll deal with books or television but I'm all over the place on those categories (old and new) so that'll be trickier. I'll think of something. Currently I'm stuck home due to snow, missing another day of work so I'll have plenty of time to brainstorm.

I've been really pathetic about keeping up this blog in the past 2 months. I've been online, commenting here and there but the need to update slowly eroded away recently. Either I'm too lazy or I felt there was nothing worth posting about.

Hello, Pixlbiters! Hope everyone is doing ok!

When it comes to getting things done in my apartment during the work-week, I'm completely useless. I figure I'll have enough time to finish chores by a certain time or catch up on tv or movies but all I recently had time for is sleeping and eating and then cleaning up to go to work. Either I really can't manage my time well or its damn near impossible. I only feel alive and alert during the night when I'm working. 

If I'm lucky, I cleaned up my last senior football game of the year and the school won't have the home field advantage and host a tournament. It was Senior Night last night and it took me a full 3 1/2 hours to clear the field. It's not the end of the world if they do (one big game a week isn't that bad but I hate how close it would come to Thanksgiving) but I'm ready for this to be over. Just smaller who-gives-a-shit games from here on out, okay guys?

High school sports continued its reign of terror in such an invasive way this past week. Some games are expected to generate huge crowds (leading to a huge mess) so I had every reason to dread last Friday's Homecoming game. I worked a little longer Thursday night prepping the football field and the main gym for the festivities and still had to put up with serious, legendary littering on behalf of the community and whatever asshole school they were playing against. It took me nearly 4 hours just to clear the field. 

Readjusting to late night shifts isn't easy but I'm starting to get used to it. I actually prefer the football season at this school; there's an average of 2 game nights a week. The basketball season is what tested me last year: multiple game nights, more games, more people, more trash, more long nights. I pray this school doesn't host a tournament of any kind. Throw the lowly janitor a bone for once.
