Yesterday, IGN revealed the next title from developer Double Fine Productions, of Psychonauts and Brutal Legend fame. Stacking will be the second downloadable title from the developer, and as with their last title, Costume Quest, it will be published by THQ.
One of the most finely crafted games of this generation.
Since the birth of the downloadable platform this generation, we have seen many great games; however, very few have managed to surpass being a cheap, quick thrill and achieve true greatness. A couple of years back I had the opportunity to review World of Goo, and I walked away utterly stunned by the experience. Today, I'm here to say that such an experience is once again available to the gaming world in Super Meat Boy. The simple platformer is so amazing in its execution, that it's absolutely irresistible.
Nintendo makes a return to WiiWare this week with a brand new 800 point title, as do demos for some of the more popular recent releases.
This week provides a packed set of releases with a total of four demos on WiiWare, alongside a first party Nintendo release. DSiWare offers up three brand new titles, and Virtual Console even sees some action with a single Neo Geo release.

Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage is obviously a game adaptation of the popular manga and anime from the 80s, but it's also the latest work of Omega Force, the team behind the Warriors series. After a few minutes with the game it's quite obvious that said team was behind the title, as the gameplay closely resembles the style of play found in their main series, requiring players to take on hordes of enemies at a time. I also couldn't help but draw another comparison as I played through the title; whether it be the setting, feel of the game, or the epic boss fights that conclude each level, Fist of the North Star undoubtedly reminded me of God Hand.

Augmenting the recent release of arcade flashback, Hydro Thunder Hurricane is the Tempest Pack DLC. The pack includes a set of three new levels, two totally new boats, five retooled expert versions of pro and novice level boats, as well as new Championship, Gauntlet and Ring Master challenges. While all of this content is offered in the pack, the tracks are truly the main attraction, and at only 400 Microsoft Points they're a good investment.

Bizarre Creations, creative minds behind the Project Gotham series, Blur, and The Club, have put together their talents to create the latest video game based on James Bond. A combination of third person shooting and intense car chase sequences, James Bond 007: Blood Stone is a wholly original story involving the international spy from MI6. The game is undoubtedly in the upper-echelon of Bond experiences, but its quality is all over the board, ranging from spectacular to yawn-inducing.
Players don their Wii Remote, Nunchuk, and Zapper to take on enemy forces in this augmented reality inspired trailer. Those looking for a bit of gameplay need only check out the last few seconds of it.
