The forefront of Episode 28 is Nintendo. Why? Because of the numerous rumors about the Wii's successor, which apparently will be revealed at this upcoming E3, which is exactly what Nick and Jason estimated would happen last week, in Episode 27.

With all of the rumors swirling about Nintendo's next home console, gamers have started discussing what we can expect as a name for the next system. Many speculate a name change that, like the system, will cater to the hardcore market. Unfortunately for them, the system will undoubtedly continue to carry the Wii moniker. "Why is that?" you might ask. Simple.

Suprisingly, it’s not quite shovelware, but it is the definition of squandered potential.

While I often don’t think the term “mixed bag” says much about a game, I think it speaks to the core of Asphalt 3D quite well. There’s a very even mix of good and bad, offering players what could’ve been a solid racing experience if it weren’t dragged down by some poor AI, technical issues, and cell phone game design. Players will find some solid racing mechanics underneath all the mess, fun tracks complete with shortcuts, as well as an assortment of challenges providing some necessary variety.

An Amazon posting points to a release on June 28 for the new version of the game. UPDATE: Capcom has confirmed the news.

Recently confirmed by a Capcom promo video, content from the Arcade edition of Super Street Fighter IV will be making its way to the home console version of the game in the form of DLC. A posting on Amazon indicates that a complete retail version of the game might be coming soon as well.
