I know we all still love NBA 2K11, but you really should buy this game.
While millionaires and billionaires argue amongst themselves on how to best split NBA revenues in the midst of a depressed economy, the fans that support them are left without the sport they love. Lucky for us the pesky lockout hasn’t stopped 2K Sports from delivering unto us what may be the very best game in the highly touted NBA 2K series to date.
This game craves brains because it clearly has none.
Dead Island is a game in the midst of an identity crisis. It’s not sure if it wants to be Dead Rising 2 with its customizable weapons and biting humor, Left 4 Dead with its multiplayer focused gameplay, or Borderlands with its RPG elements and zombies that bleed numbers. Dead Island wants to be all of these things and in trying to do so fails to do anything well, the result of which is an overly flawed experience that just months ago looked so promising.
The new patch includes new multiplayer maps, as well as other fixes.
Sony and Insomniac will be patching Resistance 3 in the following days, updating it to version 1.05. The patch brings not just bug fixes but also two new maps, Creek and The Granary. Creek will support 16 players, while The Granary will support just four.
Online Beta also dated and it starts sooner than you may expect.
It’s been a while since the Batman-themed multiplayer First Person Shooter was announced, but we haven’t heard a whole heck of a lot about when we could expect to see the game. That changed today and you’ll be happy to know that you’ll be taking shots at batman look-alikes and Joker posers sooner than later.
Battlefield 3 escapes its single player experiment.
Is Jesus your co-pilot? I sure hope so, ‘cause you’re better off with a 2,000 year old carpenter at those helicopter controls than me. Despite my inability to steer the helicopters, I’m still having a blast in Battlefield 3’s multiplayer. The vestigial single player campaign aped from Call of Duty is a different story. But nobody’s buying this game for the single player, and they shouldn’t. Battlefield games mean multiplayer and this installment should make all couch commandos giddy.
In 2013 The Patriots will rise.
Ubisoft made the announcement today that one of their tent pole franchises, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6, is returning to PCs and consoles with a new edition called Rainbow 6 Patriots. The new game will be developed by Ubisoft’s dream team at their Montreal studio and will be supported by Ubisoft Toronto and Red Storm.
Check out the different proficiencies available in the highly anticipated Modern Warfare 3, being released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 8.
When you say Disney Universe, Pirates of the Caribbean, WALL-E, Monsters Inc, and Alice aren’t the first things that come to mind.
At face value, you might think Disney is crazy for releasing their four player co-operative title, Disney Universe, just one week after Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One. The thing is, Disney Universe is actually the better of the two games. While both suffer from a lackluster co-operative play, the core gameplay of Disney Universe is more layered in its design, giving players more than endless enemies to grind through.
Our review copy is in, come get an idea of what the latest title from Disney is all about.
It's a beautiful thing when review copies arrive early. Unfortunately, for Disney Universe we are embargoed from releasing our review any earlier than its release day, Tuesday, October 25. However, I can talk a little bit about the game in the meantime.
