The new-old PixlTalk crew takes to the sound waves once again.
The original (well, sort of) crew of PixlTalk is back this week as they reclaim the podcast that has been under the loving care of our previous two crews for the past few months. Coming back into the show we wanted to do something new and fresh that would shake up the original format and keep things moving at a steady rate.

Is streaming the future of gaming? Sony's betting on it.
With the ongoing battle between publishers and retailers over used games—not to mention the fight against piracy—it stands to reason that a move away from physical media is the future for the video game industry. It’s a transition already fully underway in the film industry, with digital movie rentals, sales, and streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime rapidly becoming the preferred method of watching movies at home. Although 99Seconds appears to be on to something at first, spending time with the game reveals that there is no real hook and it fails to instill the desire to wear your thumb raw for the sake of a high score.
Lara's new look does a lot for her character, but has any progress really been made?
When asked to name female video game characters that embody some aspect of stereotypically exploitive depictions of women there are a few that almost anyone would name, but the name that almost always rolls off the tongue first is Lara Croft of Tomb Raider fame.
