You Shall Not Pass!
You would think that by my thousandth dead orc I would have stopped grinning when a horde of them walked into my carefully constructed labyrinth, setting off a chain of traps that resulted in their own glorious deaths by piercing, dismemberment, crushing, burning or all of the above. But then you haven’t played Orcs Must Die! yet. Created by Robot Entertainment, Orcs Must Die! is a light hearted third-person take on the classic tower defense genre that in addition to placing various traps and obstacles against an overwhelming orc horde you can also engage them with melee, ranged, and magical attacks.

For a game that seems like it's been in development longer than Duke Nukem Forever, Diablo III sure got a lot of love at this past weekend's BlizzCon. In addition to announcing that you may be able to get Diablo III for free, Blizzard revealed a sweet collector’s edition of the hopefully soon to be released game.

Mojang’s upcoming game Scrolls has been in the gaming news quite a bit lately. Most recently the Minecraft creator won an interim injunction against ZeniMax and Bethesda concerning rights to the name Scrolls. While the legal battle is likely far from over, this little victory is an important one as Mojang can now more freely market and talk about the game. Perhaps he'll even tell us a little more about this Alpha signup that just went up.
