Petition Started to Investigate SOPA Supporter and the MPAA

Chris Dodd has been accused of bribery for garnering SOPA support.

Many senators and pundits for legislature have heard negative criticism for their stance on the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), however few have earned as much criticism as former senator Chris Dodd. The current president of the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) vocally supported SOPA until its demise. Now Chris Dodd has added some comments that may earn himself a prosecution for bribery:

Mutant Mudds Preview

Classic action-platforming with a 3D twist.

While not many have had the opportunity to play the Virtual Boy, Renegade Kid’s latest work is oddly reminiscent of Nintendo’s misfit system. Back when the Virtual Boy launched, it touted its special 3D capabilities; these boiled down to little more than multiple viewing planes, which gave the illusion of 3D. The most memorable games used these multiple planes to create deeper platforming experiences. Taking a cue from these experiences, Mutant Mudds allows players to jump between the current plane, background, and foreground.

Guild Wars 2 Beta Coming Soon

Indications that the game will be coming this year also ring true.

The original Guild Wars made some waves when it was released by providing a rich and robust MMORPG experience without the financially restricting monthly fee.  The upcoming sequel looks to continue this tradition later this year, and while a select few were able to participate in the recently ended closed beta, Mike O’Brien, ArenaNet Founder and President, has promised that we should expect “progressively larger events.”

Zack Zero Review

If you like barely playable, derivative platformers, have I got the game for you!

Zack Zero is the most aptly titled game I have played in recent memory.  You play as the titular hero, Zack, who is a real zero.  That may sound harsh, but ‘zero’ is quite fitting and describes much more than the game’s forgettable hero.  The word is also applicable to the amount of new ideas this game has, the effectiveness of the controls and is precisely the amount of fun I had while playing.

Carmen Sandiego Adventures in Math: The Case of the Crumbling Cathedral Review

And I thought the other games in the series were short!

After the abduction of the Statue of Liberty and Big Ben, as well as the subsequent arrests of two V.I.L.E. criminals, you'd think the V.I.L.E. crew would lay low for a while. Instead, they've gotten more ambitious than ever, stealing the St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow as well as the pyramids straight out of Egypt. With the most linear quest yet, The Case of the Crumbling Cathedral is the shortest of the three episodes currently available on the Wii Shop Channel. While it's home to the best puzzles yet, it's over so quickly that it's hard to pay it any respect at all.
