So I heard...

Oh no!

On a recent trip to Epcot, a video detailing a new ride, The Sum of All Thrills, caught my eye. In the video, I noticed a few Nintendo-related Easter Eggs, and while I wasn't able to snap a quick picture of either of them, I did manage to hunt down two fuzzy shots thanks to our wonderful internet.

Max & the Magic Marker Review

Can Max and his Magic Marker draw their way into your heart?

Playing Max and the Magic Marker, I've found, is both an act of joy and frustration. It's a unique, colorful title, with its own imaginary world where the hero, Max, of course, dashes through to chase and defeat "the monster" Max accidentally created with his magic marker. The title focuses on physics-based puzzle-solving and platforming, though there's a little bit of exploration in the mix.

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Arcade FightStick Review

Quite possibly the best and most feature-packed arcade stick currently available for Wii.

Most gamers familiar with the Mad Catz name are typically reluctant to purchase their products; I'm not surprised considering their track record, and many poor quality peripherals. Recently, Mad Catz has entered the arcade stick market with Street Fighter IV branded arcade sticks, as well as the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Arcade FightStick, which was released in conjunction with the recent Wii fighter. League of Legends: Clash of Fates Hands On Preview

Riot Games' soon to be released title, League of Legends, is taking the Defense of the Ancients gameplay mainstream

Back in 2003, a custom game scenario called Defense of the Ancients (known by fans as DotA) was made for Warcraft 3. This modified multiplayer map basically took the game’s hero classes, and made them the core game mechanic with support from AI controlled minions. The scenario was an instant hit and within only a few years the game reached worldwide popularity. It became arguably the world’s most popular unsupported game mod, even finding its place in tournaments like the World Cyber Games. Now in 2009, developer Gas Powered Games is trying its hand at a modified version of the game marketed towards more than the mostly hardcore audience that has enjoyed it to this point.

New PC Game for Voyeurs

If you like to watch CCTV and want to win £1,000, Internet Eyes is the game for you.

The United Kingdom is planning to make entertainment and rewards out of security cameras. In an effort to crack down on crime, a new PC game is being developed called Internet Eyes, which hooks up players to security cameras. The idea is that the gamers watch the CCTV feed, waiting for a crime to happen. A click of their mice sends an SMS and a still image of what they saw to the operator. The best Officer McGruff takes home £1,000. Points are awarded for true crimes and removed for false reports, staving off click-happy players.
