Remaining Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Characters Leaked

While the game was just announced today, some slick internet readers managed to uncover the remaining characters on Capcom's website.

Earlier today, Capcom revealed that its popular fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 would be receiving a new iteration complete with a set of twelve new characters. Four of those characters were officially revealed: Strider Hiryu and Firebrand from the Capcom side and Ghost Rider and Hawkeye from Marvel. As it turns out, some readers of the Capcom website managed to stumble on the remaining eight characters and grabbed their corresponding character art. To many fans' chagrin, Mega Man is not included in the final roster. The full listing for each side with character art is available below.

Today, Capcom announced a follow up to its hugely successful title, Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 looks to fix a number of issues fans had with the game, as well as add in a slew of new characters, bringing the number on disk up to 48 – a total of 50 if you include downloadable characters.

Mega Man Legends 3 Project Officially Canceled

The title was slated to have a prototype released on the 3DS eShop, but this, too, has been canceled.

Capcom has used its Mega Man Legends 3 Project Developer's Room to announce Mega Man Legends 3 Project has been fully canceled. In a note left to the community Capcom created for assistance in choosing some ideas for the planned title, Capcom revealed that various sectors within the company didn't feel as though the title was of high enough quality to enter into full production, so Capcom's response was to cancel the game.

If there was one video game company during the NES era that seemed to almost one-up Nintendo in terms of quality games, it was Capcom. Whether it was releasing games starring the blue bomber himself or making great licensed Disney games, they could do no wrong. They continued this with the SNES, the Playstation 1, the Gamecube, the DS – and people loved them.

Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition Review

The latest entry in the Street Fighter IV series is controversial, yet improves the game in necessary areas.

While this game has been out in arcades for at least six months now, Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition has finally made it on to home consoles after much demand. Aside from the four new characters and controversial balance changes, Capcom went the extra mile to add to the online experience with some unnecessary, but valued and interesting features. Does Arcade Edition have what it takes to warrant a purchase, or is it just another useless DLC?

The Used Game Sale Conundrum

Why do game companies feel the licensed products you buy still belong to them after their initial sale?

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. You might’ve heard of it. Releasing today, the arcade style shooter won’t allow players to erase their save data in any capacity. You heard that right – if you purchase this game and want to start over at any point, you won’t be able to. “Well,” you say to yourself, “I probably won’t ever start over anyway, so no big deal.” Until, of course, you go to trade-in the game after you’re sick of it and you’re being offered pennies on the dollar because nobody wants your game used. I’m guessing that’s when some frustration is due to set in.
