Kirby's Epic Yarn is really good, even if it originally wasn't meant t be a Kirby game. The music is fantastic.
Monster Boy is great but it got too hard for me later on.
Never liked the Prof. Layton games. Felt like doing math story problems for homework. I loved the movie, though, and I did play the Phoenix Wright crossover game.
I never beat the first Ni no Kuni game. I got to where I felt it should've ended but it just kept going on and on. So I never got the sequel. Ghibli didn't have much to do with the sequel anyway.
Too bad the Ratchet and Clank movie bombed. If it didn't, we would've gotten a Sly Cooper movie next. I liked the R&C movie, but it made me just want to play the game instead.
I just could not get into the Mario & Rabbids game. Not a strategy guy. But they did get me to play it just to see that wacky crossover.
Rare Replay is one of the few Xbox One games I'd like to play. But I'll probably never get one.
I never even touched the PS Move. Hope you enjoy Rocket Slime. I loved it. My favorite DQ game and such awesome tank battles!
Chrono Trigger is fantastic. It's weird why they won't simply port it to more modern consoles.
Bowser's Inside Story is one of the best Mario RPGs period.
For Kirby I highly recommend Kirby Super Star Ultra and Mass Attack.
I actually didn't like the 3D remake of FF4 on DS. They made it way too hard.
Space Invaders Extreme is one of the best classic arcade remakes ever.
Rocket Slime is my favorite DQ game. Love those tank battles!
Okamiden was my GOTY when it came out.
WarioWare Touched is great, but the best one on the DS was WarioWare D.I.Y. And you know my story on that one!
Pokemon Conquest was such a weird collab! It was basically Pokemon Tactics.
Also on the DS I really recommend the first three Phoenix Wright games.
Most of my video game collection is in storage, too. I just have a box with my Switch and Switch 2 games in it, and a small stack of PS4 games.
One of the Time Crisis home games has two other extra arcade gun games in it: Shoot Away and Quick & Crash. I forget which one has them, though.
If you liked Ys 8, I suggest trying Ys 9 next! The locations and setting in Ys 8 are better, but in Ys 9, they streamlined a lot of the stuff they introduced in Ys 8, like the side missions. Plus Ys 9 has a likable cast of characters, too! I still like Ys 8 a little more, but Ys 9 is still fantastic.
Hey I thought of you the other day because Jupiter just released two new themed Picross S titles! One is a Capcom Classic Collection and the other is a SNK collection. I got the Capcom one because they're probably my third favorite video game company behind Namco and Nintendo. As you'd expect, the puzzles are pictures from games like the Mega Man series, Final Fight, Street Fighter, Trojan, Section Z, and many more. And there is classic Capcom music, too. Most of it is from Mega Man X, but there are others as well. I'll get the SNK PIcross game eventually, but right now I'm just going to enjoy the Capcom one until it gets too hard for my little brain!
I saw that ad, too. I don't know the time frame for it but since I can't drive because of my disability, it'll be hard for me to get to that. I'll probably have to pass that one up.
Well, since in the past couple of years I've been forced into living in a small one bedroom apartment, a lot of my Pac-Man collection is in storage. Plus I'd have to learn how to make YouTube videos. :)
Yeah there's a lot of Nintendo properties better than Mario. Kirby, Wario, Zelda, Metroid, Animal Crossing.
