I got Donkey Kong Returns 3D too.  It took forever for the download to finish.  I was worried when I saw Wario too.  I thought Nintendo may have tried to screw me over and not give me my free game.  

I get free Nintendo points from GameStop all the time.  I get them from the used games.  You would be surprised by the number of used games that still have the paper with the point numbers still inside and unused.  It's awesome!  The store manager is a friend of mine, so I get to take points off used games I didn't even buy. 

Oh yeah.... Good Times! 

Camping?  Like, for real camping with no electricity?  For 10 days?!  You are a better man than I. 

I might blog 1 time while you're gone.  I doubt I'll do anymore than that.

Though it's dead, I'm glad 1UP is still up.  I don't log in, but I check out old blogs and comments at least a couple times a week.  

Congrats on fatherhood.  Remember to laugh during the good times and the not-so-good.  Children destroy a lot of your stuff.  Or maybe that's just my kids. 

Thanks for the heads up.  I've been waiting for this.  I have Platinum.  If I had a Wii U, I'd get Earthbound.  I'll probably get Donkey Kong Country Returns on the 3DS.  

I had this game preordered until the reviews came out on it.  They weren't so great.  I still want to get the game, but I'm waiting for a nice price drop. 

It wouldn't be so bad, but I have absolutely no interest in Minecraft. 

I don't think I could ever enjoy playing a light gun game without a light gun.

I almost bought Two Worlds II and then my friends at GameStop stopped me. 

Yeah, as they get older, it's harder to fake it.  

My oldest (10) likes Transformers.  I use to go on about the newer cartoons.  I have no interest them.  Of late, he's been getting into the Transformers cartoons from the 80s.  He enjoys them more.  Thank goodness.  I can talk about them.  My 2nd oldest (7.5), daughter, likes almost anything from the 80s and 90s.  Sadly, she can drag on about Minecraft.
