I got here way too late. lol

Happy birthday! I didn't know you were just roughly a couple weeks younger than I am. lol 

I've been reflecting more and more on life as well, but no Pokemon to help me with it, since I stopped at G1 with Blue ... which I never finished and can't find back home, may even have sold in a garage sale when I was real little. 

I'll go wish him a happy one. I saw home-cooked food in this post and now I really want to start driving home for the weekend. 

Let me update it first, to reflect all my owned games, cause I recently purchased a couple Arkham titles at least, via Steam.

I honestly never even read it as a dystopian future novel, just an allegory for God in The Giver, who provides heightened emotional experiences to a young man in an otherwise feelingless world, and an allegory at the end for abortion from what I could gather, given their Kevorkian practices with children. 

I need to read it again. My friend Austin is a big fan of the book, as was I when I read it, and he recently gave back the copy I lent him. It's short, so I'll have to get on that. It seems like I'm remembering a totally different book when people talk about it.

I hate buying something fairly expensive then realizing you forgot the other accessory needed to run it. That's the worst. I'm sorry, man.
