Ah, man. I recently had a jalapeno corn dog at the March Madness Music Festival in Dallas, and now with you pan-frying corn dogs, I want the Texas State Fair to be sooner .. than October.
Dammit, man. lol
" A mix of nightmare fuel and spank material," you say?
I remember a Black Dahlia Murder interview where one of the guys said, "Ain't no force of nature, human or ... undomestic, gonna keep me from jackin' it to a horror film." If I were him, I'd put that on my Tombstone. Put enough pepperonis on it to spell out the whole quote, then eat it.
One of the reasons I wish I could get more into JRPGs.
I often choose not to post things I think are too volatile as well, unless I have a really good grasp on what I'm talking about, which isn't always the case, even when I think it is.
Sorry about the Internet thing.
Anyway, I think you're being too hard on yourself with some of these "contradictions." We're all hypocrites to some degree, but I think you can give yourself a pass for enjoying fantasy games that aren't in line with your worldview.
Nice beard though, I think that's what's making you have Twilight Zone dreams. Even if you shaved it, I think The Beard still lives ...
I want the new Smash game as well.
I didn't mind the shaky cam as much as I usually do, it seemed paced well enough. I still thought Falcon looked kinda goofy though, given the overall tone of the movie.
I did love the twists and turns in the story though. This felt more like political thriller a la Bourne than it did like any of the previous Marvel films. Apparently, that's cause that's how the new comic books are, where they based the first movie on the old 'Cap comics.
I thought the characters were the best part of the movie. They really fleshed out Black Widow, 'Cap, and Fury, and luckily the actors all had the chops to pull it off. I loved the addition of Falcon as well, those VA scenes are some of the most powerful, along with the Alzheimer's one you mentioned.
I was ok with the after credits scene, I guess, but I'm getting tired of the Tesseract to be honest.
I remember reading about that boner-laden Batman comic on http://cracked.com lol.
It's not my thing, but there's a mostly instrumental song of his I always used to hear on Song Pop I liked.
I actually like the game more because of the name. I like how the guy in the video says it, too. I've always found that 90s/Monster Truck Rally kind of announcer voice amusing.
3 weeks for disability to kick in? I better find a sweet, loving woman to bone soon, cause if I get on disability while I'm still single, I'm gonna wind up strangling a nurse, if it takes that damn long. Sorry, man. Oddly enough, one of my major goals recently is getting to sleep earlier, and I'm actually in college. lol
I need to get a first-run PS3 and that MGS HD collection. Guacamelee keeps popping up on Humble Bundle, and I was kind of upset, because today they tied in with PewdiePie and one of my regular charities (Save the Children), but I was like "I already own that one game I want." I'll just send StC a direct donation anyway, but I kinda wish that particular charity was tied to the eBook packages.
Ni No Kuni and Far Cry 3 look fun.
I'm gonna rewatch Desolation of Smaug tomorrow in the Baker Patillo Student Center theater, cause I have a free admission pass from when the projector didn't work for Lone Survivor, and it's the last movie they'll show this semester, with Easter break, dead week, and finals coming up. I'm kinda pissed they didn't just let me use it to get a $2 snack combo though, being that tickets are also $2.
I need to get back to watching House of Cards on Netflix. I might finally finish season 2 over Easter break.
I read the first chapters of Divergent and The Giver. We'll see how that goes as my research papers and projects for my Master's courses become due. haha
Have a great one!
