Casey Ranks Mario Games

I really dislike the wiimote.  I wish Nintendo have you an option to use a normal controller like they do with some of the other Wii games.  That level where I had to ride a dolphin and tilt the wiimote to turn was the straw that broke the camel's back.  I died about 10 on that level and didn't make it much pass the starting line.  I kept thinking, "why can't they let you use the damn d-pad?"  One of these days I'll give the games another shot.  It doesn't help that the only 3D Mario game I ever enjoyed was Super Mario 64 and after playing so many Mario games, I'm all Mario'ed out.  They really need to start spacing out those games more.

PC is broken... But 3DS is awesome!

Pay varies, but it's pretty good.  It's an important job.  You have to continue taking courses to keep your license.  We're fighting polution and keeping water safe for everyone. Laughing  I've been told if a plant is near a beach and/or a resort, the water has to be very clear and clean and the pay to keep it up is better.  Also, you don't have to go to college to get the job.  I figure I'll work for the city for a few years and then work for the state or government.  There are agencies that monitor our work and make sure we follow guidelines and laws.  I can only assume their pay is better.  Hopefully, my college degree will finally come in handy.

I work at a wastewater (shit) plant.  Dirty water goes in and clean water goes out.  2 people have to be there at all times.  At night, weekends, and holidays, there are usually only 2 people.  12 hr shifts.  If the plant is running good (most of the time it is), I'm only working 3 hrs out of the 12.  Plenty of time to watch movies, read, and play games.  One of my co-workers has one of those portable monitors that you can put a console in and he plays that.  I brought my pc to work more than a few times, but I usually take the 3DS or PSP with me.  Most guys bring a laptop.  Not a bad job.  As long as water needs cleaning, I have a job.

Devil Survivor is probably my favorite DS game.  It's a srpg.  It re-released again on the 3DS with extra content.  It's a SMT game, so a lot of fighting demons with demons.  I think it's as good as FE:A, but not as complicated.

What's different between the DQ7 (PS) and the DQ7 (3DS)?

What are the best games you played so far this year?

The game I played the most this year was Dragon Age: Origins (360).

I'm always playing my 3DS at work.  I finished Fire Emblem and Zelda.  I'm currently playing Devil Survivor: Overclocked.

I haven't been a fan of Mario in many years.  They're hyped too much.  I played SMG1 and I wasn't impressed.  I mainly had issues with having to use the wiimote to play the game than the game itself though.  The wiimote annoys me.  If I can play a game with a GC controller, I do it.

Why didn't I here about this game?
