I did Christmas music for like two days. That's about enough for me. 

That cassette tape to mp3 is pretty cool. I converted all my tapes to cd some years ago. I used to occassionally pick up a used cassette tape of music and convert it, but I haven't seen any in a while now. I've also gotten rid of all my tape players. Sometimes I think it might be good to have one around just in case, but I really haven't seen a cassette tape in a long while. Even my used record store, which I just went to the other day, doesn't have them anymore. 

Sometimes they are good, like the One Bullet achievement in Half Life 2 that forced me to use the gravity gun for the whole game, but a lot of the time they are just pointless attempts to keep you in the game as long as possible. I almost regret getting every collectible in Doom now. I should've avoided the walkthrough videos. 

I left a few trophies for the races unfinished. I was thinking yesterday I may go back and try them again. 

I'll watch another episode this weekend. 

It was the Geof Kealey produced show. I think it used to be called Spike Video Game Awards. His method of choosing winners is discribed on the wiki page. 

I'm curious about Letter Quest. I loved Bookworm Adventures and hope it's similar. 

I'm interested. Now just to find a slot in my schedule. . .  hum. . .

I'll probably watch another one this weekend. I like seeing the other characters and trying to remember their names, and yes, Spyro's cockiness is super annoying. I really hated that. But I like the show in general. 

There were some new trailers and gameplay shown. You should watch those.

Oh yea, I saw that Bethesda Pinball FX2 listed for like January. I have it on my list of games I want. Doom Pinball would be really cool. 

Ok then. I haven't played the others. Just seems from the trailers that they'll full of variety. I agree with everything you say, though. Level design in Doom is very interesting and doesn't really feel too linear because each area twists and turns so much. The action in Doom is super fast and smooth. I feel like I'm doing a sport playing it. That's a good sign, I think. 

I would get lost in original Doom all the time. I did that just a few months ago too. 

You would mention Hexen. Probably my favorite from back in the 90s. I want a remake of that so bad now. 

Doom finally made it into my top ten most played games this year. I wonder if it'll shoot all the way to number 2. It's not beating Minecraft this year. Nothing's gonna do that. 

That's a cool idea with the velcro. Unfortunately my external hard drives right now are too large for that treatment.
