Yes, I think RE0 and RE1 as well as RE2 are supposed to have widescreen options and modern controls. I'm just glad these old style games are still being kept alive on respitory systems.
I don't mind playing any game as long as it has horror and/or atmoshpere whether it's on rails or not, but I prefer something more game-like usually, like Alien Isolation, or Layers within at least had stuff to interact with.
These 'Back to the Future' type gotchas are quite annoying and seem to be more of a modern cultural thing becuase of the Facebook and Twitter generation. It makes sense when it comes to politicians contradicting themselves, but artist and musicians have always been controversial. And PC police are on both sides, left and right and it didn't start in the 90s. From what I read online about this it seems to be a conservative politician in the UK that banned him, and on the left its Feminist group in Australia.
Oh, and Eminimen does get away with more because he's white.

I watched a twitch stream of it and it actually looks pretty good. Is it a Dreamcast port, because it doesn't look as pixley as some classic PSOne or PS2 games. It looks quite nice actually. More of and HD texture update than a remake, but it looks more approachable than some older games honestly.
This is a terrible idea for Nintendo. Having a presense in stores is important for holiday sales when parents buy a 'game thing' for kids. They also need the visibility of shelf space. Hell, I see those amiibos everywhere any time I go out to a store now. Also Nintendos eShop is terrible. They don't have nearly the large library that either Microsoft, Sony or Steam has and their games are still very expensive compared to other systems. Even my PS4s hard drive seems to be filling up fast already and I've only had it for a few months. I heard people joking about Nintendo putting future games into amiibos. That would be cool.
