I read one of the Thrawn Star Wars books not too long ago. I don't know, like the Mass Effect book I read, I didn't really take to it. I dont' know what it is about Halo. Maybe because Mark and I played it so much and that first game had such a dramatic ending - ends in a big boom like the first Star Wars.

Nintendo finally doing DLC. Boy that's like a decade behind the times. But I like it.
I just got Halo Wars 2 and I'll buy DLC that's story related. I don't care for the multiplayer maps like Doom had nothing but multiplayer maps so I didn't buy any DLC there.
Yea, it's stupid. I can't look forward to putting in my new game and playing it right away. I know I have to wait possibly hours first. Very bad. Does PS4 do this too? I seem to remember, last time I played a game on it, that it installed very quickly or just played right away from the disc.
I have that OLED screen one too. The only new TVs I see a noticeable difference in screen quality these days are the OLED ones. They are pretty pricey though.
I almost forgot it was Valentines day until I saw Minnie there next to Mickey at Gamestop. I had to buy them both and I felt all warm and fuzzy. Then I wished my girlfriend a happy Valentine's Day. Weird, I know. Got to do better next year.
I didn't much like the demo I played of FF Worlds, but I loved the monster designs and the battle system is interesting. I'm tempted to give it another try. I didn't like the environments. They lacked detail and were uninteresting, at least in the demo version.

I have a strong memory of going to The Outer Banks in North Carolina for a holiday and picking it up at thrift shop, then bringing it to the house to play on Genesis. I want to see those graphics again.
