I loved the WiiU when it first came out. I keep the gampad on the charger on  my computer desk and just play off-TV on the gamepad itself, at least when games allow it. 

If you have an empty seat available some time in the future, I'd be glad to join.

I'm playing a free account in SWTOR from lvl 1. I got to lvl 10 in one evening which took much longer when the game first came out if I remember correctly. I have a companion unlocked which makes soloing much easier and I'm about to leave the first planet/area. This took forever in the original game.

Samurai Warriors is a spin-off of Dynasty Warriors except SW takes place in ancient Japan instead of China. It's a simple hack-n-slash 1 vs 100 style gameplay where you fight waves of enemies taking over points on a map until you reach the boss. The one I played is the newest game in SW but it's chapter based and every character uses different weapons, kind of like Soul Caliber. If you like the grind...a lot of people can't stand these games, but I've defended stupid fun before, and that's just what it is.

The other two corpse parties where very different from each other. The first was like a 16-bit adventure game made in RPG maker, but still horror, and the sequel was a visual novel. This new one is a 3D adventure game, like Resident Evil 1 with all the backtracking. Just replace the Spencer Mansion with this elementary school. You have to find keys to doors n stuff and it is very dark. Playing the first two games would help, but not necessary.

Undertale is much better than I though it would be. I couldn't stop playing it. It has a bullet dodging minigame for combat which is really odd, but it is not a passive RPG.  

Valkyrie Profile and Castlevania 2D. Lightning Returns and Resonance of Fate were nice throwbacks to the VP mechanics, but I wish it were used more, as much as I wish we had more games that copied Shadow of the Colossus, which is another game I want to see more of. 

My favorite games on WiiU are Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and ZombiU. I also Downloaded WindWaker HD and Metroid Trilogy and they are both super good. 
I've been playing MarioKart8 and Smash Bros lately.
I honestly play the 3DS more because it has more games, JRPGs, that I prefer as well as VITA.
I usually play on the controller screen exclusively if it's available as I found it to be convenient to just chill on the bed with a headset on at night or at my computer desk for a few rounds of something, mario kart, smash. etc.

As for metroid, I think it's suggested that you adjust the wiimote sensitivity to very loose so you can rest your arm and slightly move your hand  for aiming, at least thats how I found the controls more tolerable.You can also make the HUD more transparent to see more of the world better. Gosh, Echoes is just insane tough? What the hell were the devs thinking? It was super hard then and now, it was like Dark Souls for Nintendo, when games used to be hard. I've been meaning to weekend marathon through it because I just love the atmosphere and ambiance. One of my favorite worlds to explore, especially that whole dark world mechanic.

In anycasy, the wiimote settings are accessed from the main menu outside of all the games I think? Too bad they edited out those sweet, sweet intros to each games. My favorite part of starting up those games.

And, good god I wish you were podcasting about this, but I'll just give it a rest already! 

Indie game movie is a must watch. It's very interesting and you get to see the drama and stress of game dev. Wreck it Ralph treated games with a lot of respect and was original too. Professor layton film was good too, and I'm ashamed to admit I've seen too may Pokemon movies, but my fav was Mortal Kombat!!!

I played it to make sure of whether I should buy it or not. I don't want to make a 60$ regret.

There is alpha footage of BF3 with dark Jedis too. This isn't that though, it's something else entirely.

It shouldnt have been called battlefront, because it isn't. It's more battlefield Star Wars edition.

Same here. I was hoping MP was pushed to the side at least made optional, but it looks more like Battlefield MP with lvl grinding.
