Bethesda Are Fucking Stupid

Well, maybe settle for Xenoblade Chronicles on WiiU. It's supposed to be bigger than Witcher 3, allegedly? I doubt Nintendo puts out bad software at launch. I feel for you man. I know how much you love games and are on top of all the latest releases.  I'm just waiting on Holiday sales to stock up on console games. Is Fallout4 not available on PS3 or 360?

Bethesda Are Fucking Stupid

I bought DA:Inquisition through origin recently and it ran like utter shit! I've never had issues with origin games and can still pretty much play most new PC games, even Metal Gear 5, but DA was completely unplayable. I messed with all the settings and dowloaded patches and still shit. I was so fucking furious!!!! I know how you feel. That is a lot of money, get it back and just get it on console.

Also, just vent it all out on your podcast.

I could go on forever. Agree with your picks, and I added the ones that come to mind.

I have quite a few Disney Infinity and amiibo toys displaying on my shelf. WIth the Nintendo figures, it's more about toy collecting. I don't really use them for DLC. With Infinity, they are required for the game, but also like collecting them. It is what it is. I said I wouldnt buy into this gimmick, and now I have over 10 figures, and will probably be adding the new Avengers and Star Wars figures in the near future, actually, I already own Han Solo and Chewbaca for Infinity 3.0, oops!

Hey Pixlbiters, any good, recent driving games?

I'm not that into racing games but I thought F2P 'The Crew' on PS4 was alright, considering its free. I didn't like that I had to upgrade my car to get better handling, but I assume most driving games are like that now anyway, even Mario Kart 8, so I can't fault it for doing what everyone else does. It's got a story and side quests like an MMO if you like that kind of driving game?

The Lower Level? Since you want to keep it gamey and scummy? I think it's safe? Plus you're in Australia, so it could reference down under too?

Zesteria, Corpse Party, SWTOR, etc...

Actually, I was thinking of getting into Dragon Quest Heroes after Samurai Warriors as well as the Zelda one for WiiU. I think the latest Warriors game was the most updated, combat-wise.

Tomb Raider: Legend

Great podcasts guys. Happy to hear from new voices. I enjoy reading Jamie and Blakes blogs all the time.
I agree with Casey on classic Tomb Raider and Legends and Anniversary. I'm a big fan of the TR series and have purchased the many versions of Anniversary, on PSP, Wii etc. I really loved Legend and collection and was hoping they'd continue in that new direction but then went the direction of Uncharted, and stupified everything, so agreed with Blake on the new series. It didn't do much for me and I pretty much gave up on the series and just accept Uncharted as the successor I suppose, in the same way that Devil May Cry was replaced by Bayonetta.

I also thought the tomb of King Arthur was both absurd and fun at the same time. A great little set piece, and I also enjoyed the parts in Legend that felt more like Zelda. I think the water levels were very fun and much improved mechanic to the series. I want to replay it now damned you Casey!!!

What is Your Most Arresting Gaming Experience of the Past Five Years?

Resident Evil 1 and Silent Hill 2, to this day when I replay them I feel tense and uneasy, the way those worlds try to shut you out, and Silent Hill 2 with it's fog and darkness makes you feel lost.

Links Awakening (Gameboy)
Considering the tiny screen and basic visuals and color schemes, I was instantly transported to another world and I held this game above other zeldas for a long time until Twilight Princess.

Monster Hunter (PSP)
I was very impressed with the size and scope of the first Monster Hunter game on PSP. The vistas and giant monsters, of course I didn't know it was meant to be played co-op, so getting through the whole thing solo was quite daunting.

Confessions of a "Tales of" addict

Oh, okay. I'm way ahead of you in the story then. I would push on through because the game story and combat gets better after you've added more characters to your party and explored more of the world and plot. It felt like a slow burn at first, but I feel things have picked up now.
Which was your favorite Tales game and why? Is there a consensus among fans about which game is the best?
