Interesting. Nikon used to be best for lenses in the film days. Canon was cheaper but still good.

I saw Kong on IMAX 3D just for the spectacle. It was ok. I wasn't overly wowed by it even though it had a giant monster battle in it. I'm not sure why. Maybe 'cause there's nothing new about it or the monsters didn't have much personality. I'm excited for Ghost in the Shell at the end of the month and the Dead Pool trailer was perfect. It's how all trailers should be, like little standalone mini movies.
I was collecting in the 90s too. Some I have, some I don't. I don't know where I'd put it all now. My closet is full. No more room.
I only go for them if I finish a game normally and want to do more. First playthrough, I try to ignore them. I don't even look at them for the risk of spoilers.
I watched some physiology lectures a few months ago. We all basically go paralyzed when we sleep. Then sometimes the brain wakes up before the body and then you get that paralyzed feeling. Basically you are paralyzed until your brain reconnects with the rest of your body. It's pretty common but I don't think I've experienced it, but maybe once as a kid. Seems like something that might have happened.
Camera gear makes me so excited. That's just me. I tried to get a fish eye lens a little while ago, or at least a super wide angle lens, and couldn't get one for under $800 for my Nikon D70S. I thought they'd be cheaper than other lenses. I mean, I got a 90mm macro lens for around $400. I thought, not more than that. But it was. I was disappointed.
I used to be a Canon guy too. Now I'm Nikon. Not sure why I switched but I'm not super attached to either like some people. I have fond memories of Canon though because that was my first serious camera, a Canon AE-1. I went Nikon when digital happened.
Darn it. And I wanted to do that and pretend I was playing the Switch.
The RPG elements in Borderlands drive me nuts. So many stats to turn over in my mind. I want to simplify them any way I can.
OMG! I didn't realize there was more to that comparison. Where ya hiding Caliban and Prof. Xavier.
Maybe Nick's adding it to the update he's working on.
Oh shit, I forgot those books were on one of my "to read" lists.
I think the game is already at $20. It's probably something that, if I stuck with it, I'd figure out the battle system a bit better. I get kind of picky when I have a large list of awesome stuff I want to check out on my rental list.
I often make the statement that if it wasn't for Mark, I'd be playing RPGs all the time and crafting potions instead of playing the game.
