Yea, Activision did games for the Atari right. I've really grown to appreciate their design aesthetic. I have that Activision Anthology for the Xbox. Most of the best Atari games are in there.
I think I started to watch the Space Battleship Yamato one time. I didn't finish it though. Back when I was a kid, I really got into Star Blazers. One of my favorite tv shows ever.
I never thought of Adventure as an open-world game. Ha! There's not much of a world there but, yes, you do move around freely from screen to screen.
I should be an 80s music guy 'cause that's when I went to high school. I always figure a person's music is the stuff they heard in high school, but I always looked back to the 70s. Probably because I was into scifi and fantasy literature and prog rock really spoke to that. 80s music had too much gloss and commercial appeal to interest me. I was disgusted by what Genesis and Peter Gabriel became in the 80s, but I like it fine now.
I talk to my friend Sean all the time and mention how I wish we'd done something with our comedy back in high school. He said to me he thought we'd dodged a bullet by not doing it. Seems a tough life in that Hollywood.

Yea, I was really beginning to beat my head against a wall playing B2 for achievements. I would end a play session literally exhausted from all the frustration. I had to stop myself.
Ha ha! Awesome. Owls was on my mind because I was reading The Books of Magic comic by Neil Gaimon. It seems it must've been an influence on Harry Potter because both main character's are nearly identical and have owl pets. Also, I didn't know Merlin had an owl as a pet. My friend told me that and I was surprised. Things you learn.
I'm usually at 50% of the achievements after my first playthrough just focusing on the story. After that I look at the list to find more things to do, if the game is great.
I played Pre-Sequel when it came out on Xbox 360. I liked it a lot. I thought it had some interesting improvements and was even funnier than B2. I didn't think about the Australian accents but then it was developed by 2K Australia and every character in the game is done up in a silly over-the-top way. It made me think of Monty Python, but maybe that was the English in the Australian accent.
All the dialog is hilarious even from random enemies. There's these holiday special DLC missions I forgot to play in B2. Mark was playing them and one has a character ramble on for 20 minutes. Listen to it all for a reward.
I missed Darkwing Duck when it came out in '94, just like I missed Batman The Animated series, but I remember seeing some adverts in some comics I was reading later and really liked the art style. The comics are just ok so far. I still have a few more to read. My friend Mark was a huge Animaniacs fan and still sings the song, like he did just the other day.
I like seasons but I haven't liked snow in recent years because it's been coming in these huge storms and then vanishing in a week.
