According to Game Informer's podcast, the game is more survival horror and less run-and-gun. It's more like Resident Evil in that way, I think.

The Giants handled it but got banished to Earth for their troubles. Also, the Arkeyans used to defend Skylands against The Darkness until they started messing with technology and magic. Then the warlike Arkeyans outnumbered the peaceful ones and created a tyranny under the Arkeyan King. . . I'm kind of getting into this Skylanders lore.

Oh my, yes! I didn't realize until you mentioned it. There are a lot of them.
What's Pain-Yatta angry about? Lollypop not the right flavor?
Oh yea, Darkwing is a white feathered duck underneith all that purple.

Interesting. Not Daffy in that suit. Ok.
Yea, I remember that now. That was one of the comics that stayed with me.

Oops. Yea, Duck Dodgers and Darkwing are Daffy, Donald is Donald. I got Donald in Disney Infinity but I like Daffy more, I think.
Yea, I read that one. That's the origin story one? I liked the cell showing him in a cubicle and not being acknowledged at the toy factory because of his lack of people skills even though he had original ideas. I identify with that. There was also his love life in that one, if I remember right. Sad.
Ha ha. I just watched the appropriate clips from Thunderdome and It's Always Sunny. Good references! Eye-Brawl is totally like Master Blaster and that Always Sunny ostrich clip was a better one for displaying what an ostrich sounds like, thanks to youtube.
