Dragon Quest XI has me thinking I should own a Switch, and I would, but I have no expendable cash at the moment. That game is a system seller for me though. One day.

I thought MS press conference was pretty interesting. They played a lot of game trailers which is better than watching people talk. I like they're adding orginal Xbox games to the backwards compat list. Not sure I'll have time to check out many titles but I hope they add some to Games with Gold as freebies. I still have to watch the other conferences. I can't wait to see those.
I'm curious about those NES Remix games. I'd give those a try if I wasn't on a buying lockdown at the moment.
I'd like to do illustrations like I used to see on old paperback fantasy and scifi novels. But I'm just beginning so I was trying to do basic stuff like geometric shapes, figure drawing, animals and architectural shapes. I just want to do the basics. I don't know where it will go. I like a wide range of art styles but I imagine with practice I'll figure out what exactly I want to do with it.
The story works very well when you complete it and then think about all the events and what it all meant. I like that about it. You worry about survival and puzzles during the game and then do the deep thinking as the credits roll. Perfect process for a game, I think.
It is. The other day I was just picking away at some blocks in a mine and suddenly thought, "what the heck am I doing?". It's those hidden rare elements that pop up every so often. It's enough to keep me digging like a mole.
Did it today in 5 1/2 hours. Then I went exploring for extras and am now at 10 hours.
It's been story first then exploration second for me. I'm actually getting into RiME even more in my round 2 exploration. I kind of didn't expect that.
Yea, not the same for sure but in the vein of open world exploration and figuring out something puzzling. If you play RiME there is a moment that looks almost exactly like Journey. Oh and there's no toppling giant robots, although. . . nuff said.
I hope I'll get to play Titanfall 2 sometime but it seems unlikely. I keep adding new titles to Gamefly trying to keep up to date and that one just get's farther and farther behind.
I really hope I can get past just long hikes in the park. I'd like to do a run again. Perhaps when my job thing is settled I'll try running again.
