I got hooked on the DQ series with VII on the PS1. I got stuck and rage quit and didn't go back for years, until I wisely bought the strategy guide. VIII was awesome, and I got all the DS games as they came out. Then I got one of those multi-deck consoles that playes NES, SNES, and Genesis games and got I-III for it. I only played the first one, and it is a grindy slog and very unforgiving, but man, I loved it. And with the Switch, I bought and downloaded I-III again. And discovered that they're the GBC ports. Not that that is a bad thing, it just means my maps and notes for the first game are no good. I actually like DQ better than I ever liked Final Fantasy. Heresy, I know.

I have all the games on their original consoles, and the consoles to play them on. Personally, I prefer my games on a larger screen, I had a hard time with DQ VIII on the 3DS because it was so small.

I will probably end up not really doing much more with Breath of the Wild until things slow down in my life a little bit.

I'm up for island hopping pretty much any time I'm on. I'm all set on all fruit, Courtney Yarger set me up the first day I was online. And I usually leave my gate open when I'm not doing something that won't let me have it open, if you want to pay me a visit.

Yep, 400 square feet is a tiny house. This one was once an old farm shed. Think of it kind of like the first house you start out with in Animal Crossing, lol.

It's not the difficulty, it's the space. My house is only 400 square feet and currently has way too much stuff in it (everything I had at my grandmother's that I had to move out fast when my uncle put her house up for sale, plus everything I had when I moved in). So the older consoles are boxed up and in the loft until I get a corner cleaned out and can set them up.
