Digital games are too expensive. Just another reason phyical games are awesome. Unless a sale is going on the digital game, you're just throwing money away.
My son was playing that game on his tablet last night. I've never playing an Angry Birds game.
From my experience, it's been like that for many years, now. You say you don't like a game that "everyone" seems to love and some gamers take it personal. Like you made fun of their ugly baby or something. I tell some people that I didn't like Final Fantasy 7 or FFX and they respond as if I mocked their god.
I like buying the AAA games that people say are great, but I don't spend the money on them. I buy them when their under $20. That way if I don't like it, I didn't spend a lot of money on it. I also don't make myself play games I'm not enjoying. Videogames are entertainment first for me. If I'm not having fun, I stop playing them. I have too many other games to play. Sometimes, I'll quit a game I'm not enjoying, go back to it later and have fun with it.
I take reviews with a grain of salt. I read or watch them for info on the game. I don't care too much if the reviewer thought the game was good or not. If it sounds like something I would enjoy, I give it a shot.
Now that 3 is out, my kids want me to buy 2 & 3. They've been bugging me about it for a while. They really enjoy the Lego games. I like them too. I played Lego Marvel a lot this year.
I still hadn't Lego Batman yet. I watched my kids play it a bit. If I ever find the 2nd game under $20, I'll pick it up. Lego games are pumping out too fast for me to keep up.
There are still a few NES games I would like to get. I should get on that.
A new Devil Survivor 2? I have to get that. Hopefully, I will start and finish Persona Q before DS2: Record Breaker comes out.
So have I. I own a lot of systems. If I can put an older system away to make more room for a newer system that also plays the older system's games, it's a great bonus. Having all those systems hooked to 1, 2, or 3 tvs can become a big mess. 
Fighting game players are a very niche group. Even more so on pcs. Selling to casuals on consoles is where the money is really at. Casual gamers have little to any idea what King of Fighters, Skullgirls, Guilty Gear, or Blazblue is.
Exclusive isn't as bad a word as it use to be. I'm sure if there is money to be made Tomb Raider will show up on the PS4 and I know Street Fighter 5 will show up on the XBO. It may be Super Street Fighter 5 (XBO) and not just Street Fighter 5. On top of that, why put SF5 on PC? Microsoft Windows is on PC. If it can run on PC, it can be ported to XBO. MS and Capcom aren't stupid. MS still wins if the game is on PC (if only by a little). Since when are fighting games released on PC even important? I guess SF4 (PC) was more profitable than I thought. 
I bought PQ on day one and still hadn't opened it yet. I want to, but I'm trying to finish Dragon Quest 4 (DS) first. I have over 40 hrs into DQ4. I can't stop now.
