Out of curiosity, are you putting your class stuff online? I'd like to follow along. As far as media 101 goes, are you watching the OJ tv show? That definitely focuses on media manipulation. I remember a class where we talked about how magazine covers darked OJs image to make him look more menacing, instead of letting the court and jury decide. I think the show is pretty good about race, media and celebrity culture.  

l never watch the Grammys but watching the Hamilton performance was a treat because I can't go to NY to see it and it won't come to LA until 2017. Also Sophia Vergara in a little taxi outfit dancing the pitbull music.

I saw it on a regular screen and it was still good. Even the BatmanvSuperman trailer looked great on a regular screen, but IMAX for that!

Saving SG for summer is great because since November, there have been some pretty slow episodes, waiting a week for another good one to roll up was annoying. I don't  particularly enjoy the office scenes, but the fights make up for it. There is a lot of Superman mythology explored in the series. It's the anti-smallville. 

For some reason I couldn't get into Shiled, carter or arrow.
