I was going crazy trying to find the DLC. Finally I just uninstalled the regular version and installed the Platinum Hits (GOtY) one and then freaked out more it wasn't working. Then I looked in the que and saw the DLC being downloaded and I was relieved. It's so annoying MS doesn't make it clear that if you have the Platinum Hits disc, the DLC will work. They want you to buy it again as a download, which you can do with the regular version of the game.
It's kind of hilarious when you can hear them teasing you and you can't quite find them. I wanted to hear all their taunts but a lot of them repeated the same ones. "Kiss my stoney ass!" was a frequent one.
Yea, the headphones thing is kind of important in horror games. Sound makes it so much better.
I've heard about the silliness in Condemned 2. Still want to have a two-by-four fight with three guys with iron plumbing.
I think of him whenever I'm doing some kind of gambling in the game or when I'm subject to random BS that requires me to return to a spot over and over. There's a picture of him in the credits showing himself as some kind of old fashioned huckster or snake oil salesman. Ken Levine made fun of himself that way in Bioshock being the voice of the vending machine. I think it's truer for Moleunux.
Well, just the idea of running-and-gunning is kind of passe and Doom 2016 made it meaningful again. It's all about sim shooters now and precision gameplay. I just want to make a mess.
The Far Cry 3 comparison got my attention.
Condemned Criminal Origins is my favorite, but maybe Silent Hill, the first one, too. Loved both. Need to play the sequel to both soon.
I don't know why, but back when it came out, I quit it really early. I can't understand why because I'm totally hooked on it now.

The screens keep coming up much darker than they were. Not sure why.
