Your thoughts on Sony & Microsoft getting shut down because of Hackers

You're right.  It's looking like a depressing future.  The second it happens I'm out.  A few of my friends have said the same.  I don't see the point in buying a product I don't actually own.  Why would anyone purchase a console that dosn't work unless it's online?  Crazy!  Hopefully, we can hold it back as long as we can.

Stop Being So Sensitive

Banning the use of almost anything is just stupid.

Bomb in the vagina?  Wish I'd thought of that. Cool

With all the online issues (download limits, down servers, hacks, etc), you'd think the gaming industry would rethink this dependence on online.  They're not ready.

It's probably just like playing Mass Effect 3 without plaing ME1 and ME2.  Dragon Age has a more detailed story and lore, IMO.  You can play and enjoy the game just fine, but you miss out only playing the 3rd game.

I think gamers rely on online connections too much.  Most games work offline.  1 day without XBL or PSN isn't a disaster.

I noticed Suikoden II wasn't playable on the PSP.  Maybe it's a mistake?  One of these days I'll get a Vita.  They're not selling well, so I hope I can get one real cheap, soon.

DA:I is a dozey to jump into if you hadn't played the first 2 games or don't know anything about them.  It hits the ground running and it's not that beginner friendly, story-wise.  There is a lot of in-game text to get you caught up.  A LOT of in-game text.  The games aren't that connected by your playable characters, but it's one big story and some of the choices you make rely on your understanding of the workings of the world and it's people.  You may want to play are look up the DA cheap notes before starting DA:I.

Thinking About Putting Inquisition On Hold

I'm 60+ hrs into DA:I.  I'm not tired of it yet, but I hadn't been playing a month either.  It's been more like a couple weeks.  I'll probably have the game beat in an week or so.  I'm playing along with my wife.  We take turns palying and she & I share info with it each.

If you're not having fun, I say quit.  Spend your time on something you want to play.

Funny, I was thinking about Skee-Lo's song a couple days ago.  I hadn't heard the song in years.  It just popped in my head.  Stayed there for a while too.
