Your taste is impeccable. I can't argue with any of those. My own list would be very different because I played different games. I was exposed to other stuff. I hardly knew about Final Fantasy or Zelda back in the 90s.

I like that screenshot for Raiden V. I gotta play a shmup again sometime.
I'm not. Curious to hear about it though.
Don't remind me of QTEs. It totally spoiled the last God of War. I'm not getting near Tomb Raider if there are a lot of those in that game. I've heard good things, but NO QTES!
YES! Give Castlevania to From Software. That would be killer. And since you mentioned Tarantino. I wonder what he would do with Castlevania. It'd be a blood and gore fest for sure. I think that might work.
Oh man, you just reminded me that I might still have batteries in my Wii controllers. Gotta check 'em NOW. ZOOOM!!!
I swear I had a copy of Super Mario World. . . Oh wait, no, I have Super Mario 64 still.
Good one.
The movie was so much fun. Not a dull moment. I swear it has a kind of anime feel. I love the colorful movie posters too. The director is Taika Waititi from New Zealand and he was a comic. So the movie is genuinely funny throughout without really overdoing it. Guardians perhaps goes a little over the edge with it, but Ragnarok gets it just right, in my opinion.
I wish. I am so in between jobs right now and probably will be for at least another year or two. However, I do have a few SNES carts. I've got Super Mario Kart, DKC 1-3, and I have Super Mario RPG on Wii Virtual Console (need to finish that one).
Yea, it's definitely the guns because he's one of the most popular characters. He should be right there in the TV show.
What a collection! I, unfortuneately, haven't played most of them except for DKC. My favorite track is Aquatic Ambience. I also played Contra 3: Alien Wars a lot co-op with my friend Mark. It's still hard, but more manageable in co-op.
