I played it back then too right along side God Hand that came out six months later from the same company. I still wonder how Clover Studios put out such wildly different games in the same year.

I keep expecting the leader alien ship in Galaxian to try and capture me, but nope. That's in Galaga. Also, in Galaxian, you have to wait for your shot to hit something or go off the screen to shoot another one. Rapid fire is better, always.
I'm inclined to like cell-shaded or other painterly styles in games over realistic designs.
Those George Forman grills are excellent.
Like every game is going this way now. Even Bioware with their new upcoming game Anthem.
Wow. I thought I was the only one who actually played these things.
I never knew about the Game & Watch stuff back then. Funny that.
What? PC Forza doesn't have controller support? I thought most PC games had that now.
I don't have the attachment to digtal media that I do to physical. I still listen to music, even though I don't keep a physical collection anymore, but going digital has definitely ruined my obsession with it. I fear gaming will go the same way. I wonder what I'll get hooked on next? Maybe cooking. Doesn't get more physical than that. And no fear of it being digitized. Or will it?
Were you born in the summer of '77 Star Wars baby?
Yep. It's going way back. I'll be into the NES stuff in the second half of this year. I can't wait for that. As much as I have nostalgia for the arcade years, I'm more excited to play NES games. It's just a matter of more content and variety of gameplay.
I'm feeling that need for more work right now too. I'm doing school and pt work for one more semester but I hope to be fully back to work in the summer. I enjoy my gaming better with a full slate of work.
