Also the way he takes all those guys trying to break into his jail cell during the riot. So badass.

Funny story, one of my buds, who had no attachment to the franchise before, loved the Shadowrun FPS, citing it as one of his favorite games and was disappointed when its Kickstarter game was brought back as an isometric RPG. Always chuckle at that.
I wouldn't call it a new trend so much as the cycle circling back. Delays are much more common early on in a console cycle, once the devs get familiar with the hardware, they can pump out games quicker. I remember when all kinds of games got delayed back in 06/07.
I definitely wouldn't say I admire him, I just think he's an amazing character
That's another aspect about Caps I love. Also his unfamiliarity with the present day can be pretty funny.
You'd love Captain Marvel and The Tick. You'd probably also like Squirrel Girl, she has the power to talk to squirrels and somehow uses that to beat the toughest Marvel characters like Wolverine and Dr. Doom, though it's mostly off panel and they never really elaborate how.
I'm actually not that much a fan of Batman as a character, think Bruce Wayne is not that interesting as a character, but still love the franchise. The villains and stories are as good as comic books get, Joker stories especially are good reads/watches. Even as a Spider-Man fanboy, I can't deny that Batman has hands down the best villain roster.
For the most part. That gay Dean episode was bad though. Possibly the worst in the series. But him in virtual reality and texting Japanese Jeff? Pure gold
