Yeah I kind of figured it would come out on Wii U at some point.  I wish Snorlax was in it.

i remember seeing a lot of those movies when I was in college.  Starship Troopers and Kull the Conqueror were so bad.  Rifftrax even did Starship Troopers!  We all loved Austin Powers but the Mr. Bean movie we didn't think was that good, as it recycled a lot of his skits and I think he was funnier in 15 min. increments.  The second Bean movie was a little better though.

I really liked The Fifth Element even though it was very juvenile.  But it had a neat lady with Raggedy Ann hair, flying taxis, robot armadillos, a blue lady who ate bricks, and a McDonalds.  So I liked it!  Multipass!  Autowash!

Most of the books I read in '97 were probably for college, so I don't remember any of them.  I know at some point I read a lot of Calvin and Hobbes books for a report I was doing for my English class, and I got a 100 on it. :)

Gaming in 1997, 1998, and 1999 was a bit of a blur for me now.  I was in college and starting to pick up steam revieweing games for The Dallas Morning News, so it was hard to remember all I played!  I do remember enjoying Diddy Kong Racing a lot, as it was the first kart game to compete with Mario Kart.  But it was also that year's big N64 holiday release, which really disappointed me.  So soon after, I bought a PlayStation.  That was one of the best gaming purchases I ever made.  Even though I couldn't afford it, after buying a PlayStation I was reviewing games for it left and right.  I think 1996 and 1997 were the years that the Namco Museums were first released, which ended up becoming one of my top five favorite games of all time.

I like the minions, but I wish Servebots were just as popular. :)

I've been kind of bouncing the idea of having a podcast with my brothers.  They would do all the technical stuff, though, and I could just talk with them.  I decided if we ever do that, our first topic would be about Mega Man because that's something we all enjoy and know about.

They need to live up to their names and take up opera.

I may have to just Netflix that one.  Once I get to the end of the summer and start preparing for PAX Prime, I don't have as much time to see movies on the weekends anymore.
