GLaD it's Friday

I'm going to pick up a Yakuza game when I need one of those retro arcade games to play for my retro fix. Weird? Yep. But I'll play Yakuza too and I've always wanted to.

When the power went out I realized suddenly that all my food I brought to Mark's place neede a microwave. Got kind of nervous for a moment there.

I love the character designs in Odin's Sphere. Really out there.

I can feel the anxiety creeping in on me right now. I've got to just keep to a plan. Hope it'll turn out all right.

Oh yea, slot 9. I seem to remember doing level 99 Bishops. All magic user and cleric spells. Mark and I just laid waste with Tiltowaits every encounter. Ha!

The NES version changes the name Bishop to Wizard.

I ran through all of them and set mine to like 6 or something. The camera shifts a little upward when the ball is at the top of the table. I don't do that for all of them though. Some tables are just different.

I'm having a really tough time with the Destroyer because I have to hit targets on the left side and for some reason I'm not too good on that side. I'm working on it though.

I played it probably the same time you did. I think I got that cheat on the Apple IIc version. You need a Bishop to identify a knife and you suddenly get a million XP or something like that. I also had the Mac Plus version of the game later on and a friend of mine hacked it and was able to get all the best equipment to start with. That was fun.

You have to play so carefully all the time. I remember now that on the NES version you can shut the game down while holding the select button to prevent it from saving. That way you can erase a bad adventure. I didn't use any of that stuff this time though. I wasn't going for a long play anyway.

I'll check Pressure Cooker out again in May when I'm on 1983. I just played a difficult, seemingly, Atari game Stellar Track. It's a space strategy game. I had to read the manual to get the coordinate system in the game but once I did it was easy and a lot of fun. My new favorite.

So awesome. I listened to it today. I'm so into electronica right now. Gary Numan too although I don't have any of his albums. Couldn't find them in the libraries or even in bargain bins. Annoying.

Spring break. Ha. That's a thing. I just had a class end. It was accelerated so only lasted half the semester. Now I have only one class. Not exactly a break. It just makes me more nervous because I want to get some full time work starting this summer. If not though, I'll just do more classes.

Toy Tyme: Disney Infinity 3.0 - Star Wars: Clone Wars

I'm just being reminded of that 2003 series by Matt. I'll have to see it for sure.

Inside Out was a platformer, kinda cool, but not my favorite. I haven't played the Finding Dory one yet. I managed to get it thinking I wouldn't because it came out just after they announced the end of Disney Infinity.

Yea really. I was always on the fence about the Tron figures because they weren't from the original movie.
