I do remember getting a new memory card just for Animal Crossing. I also remember around that time, Nintendo released a memory card for GameCube that had more storage space.

Yeah I can't really recommend this game to you. It's not a bad game at all, but just not for everyone. If it were Animal Crossing: Blather's Museum Curators, then I think you would like it.
Nope, Lyle is an otter, I looked it up. I think he's supposed to be a river otter and Pascal is a sea otter. Resetti is the mole.
I think it's interesting how Redd is a fox and Tom Nook is a raccoon/tanuki. In Japanese folklore, raccoon dogs or tanuki are said to play tricks on humans, but just playful harmless tricks. Their rivals, foxes, or kitsune, are more malicious in their human tricks.
I like Jill Sandwich, but I don't know why.
When I was a kid, I didn't play Bonk games much because I didn't have a TG-16. But I've played them other times since then and they are pretty good little platformers. I'm glad they were all on the Wii Virtual Console. I hate it that Konami squelched Hudson after they bought them out. Hudson had a perfectly good, almost finished Bonk game in the works called Bonk: Brink of Extinction before they got squashed. I even played it at E3 a few years ago and got a T-shirt! Have you ever played Super Bonk on the SNES? That one is WEIRD!
Chibi Robo on GameCube is highly underrated. All of the Chibi Robo games are. I've played a lot of other underrated games as well. Actually most of them I play are underrated. Ones I can think off the top of my head are Klonoa, Road Trip, Ristar, Rocket Slime, and many more!
PS: After my Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer blog, I do plan to write a Chibi Robo themed blog.
Namco was involved with Tengen, too. That's why R.B.I. Baseball is actually the first of Namco's Family Stadium games.
I never played the console versions of After Burner, and I didn't play it in the arcade either. It was one of the first arcade machines I ever saw that moved you around as you played, but because of that, most places charged you three or more quarters to play it, and that was unheard of back then. I decided to save my quarters for games I could play a long time with at the arcade instead.
If you want to play a GOOD arcade flight sim for the NES, try Stealth ATF. At least I remember it being pretty good anyway. I guess I should try and play it again to see if it still holds up.
There are two Xbox LIVE indie games that I have that I really like. One is called Protect Me Knight. It's a four player tower defense style game with a lot of charm, and it was made by Yuzo Koshiro's studio "Ancient." Koshiro also did the music.
Another one I like is Downtown Smash Dodgeball. It was done by some of the folks who did Super Dodge Ball on the NES, and looks VERY similar.
There WAS a couple of Katamari games on iOS but Namco took them off their site recently for some reason. I think we don't see as many Katamari games now because when the series was super popular, Namco kind of beat it into the ground with similar sequels that offereed little change and improvement. There were two Katamari games on the PS2, one on PSP, 360, PS3, and Vita. Maybe they're giving the series a break. I'd love one on the Wii U, though.
2004 through 2006 were pretty good years for me. The one game that stuck out in my mind in 2004 was also my Game of the Year: Katamari Damacy.
I got LEGO Dimensions this past weekend along with the Portal 2, Simpsons, and Back to the Future level packs. I've only played a couple of levels, and I may answer my own questions the more I play, but right now there are some things I'm not so clear on. Like, what exactly do you unlock with the characters? New levels or those open hub worlds? Also, it sounds like you have to complete levels to be able to use certain vehicles if I'm understanding what they are saying in the game (but maybe I'm not). Well I bought the packs with the vehicles, so I should be able to use them right then, I think. But oh well, maybe I'll learn more as I play more.
I'll get the Dr.Who pack because my brother's girlfriend loves that show. And I'll get the Ghostbusters level pack because that's one of my top favorite movies of all time. I am really glad I got this game because I learned through it that there will be a Midway Arcade level pack, and I REALLY want to know what that is! I see the level pack has an arcade guy, a Defender arcade machine, and a Spy Hunter car. LEGO Dimensions was really trying hard to make me want to get this game! --Cary
