It's Hard to Reset ;_;

Well Singer is all over Apocolypse. It feels like Xmen 1 redux honestly, but still liked it. DC Rebirth was a fun read. I'm not sure what is meant when people say 'the most DC' DC has done yet? I guess people hated New52 and are glad to DC is going back to earlier storylines I guess and pre New52 chars are returning. We shall see. I personally enjoyed Scott Snyder and Capullos run on Batman with New52 and I'm curious to see what they will do here.

Single player FPS basically dried up. Unless you include MP games like Team Fortress, Counter-Strike, etc. Hard Reset is very old school though. I approve of your list. I could swap Deadpool/Xmen. I enjoyed both, but I think Xmen just had more.

This is interesting to read. Thank you! I loved Oath of Felghana on PSP. It was a fantastic game. I'm sorry to hear Celcetta on PSVita doesn't live up to that game. I need to try Celcetta at some point.

Are you a Hitman fan at all? I feel like I'm missing out on something since its getting praised yet ignored mostly. I've never played a Hitman game before.

Death threats for not liking a thing?

For some reason Doom doesn't look appealing to me. I have more of an urge to replay the originals with mods or maybe Left4Dead 2 or Overwatch. I've never been that into shooters, but the comparison to Metroid Prime raised my interest. I think I told snee to wait for sale. I dont like Uncharted either. I skipped out on the last one and the portable game on vita. I dont hate uncharted, but I think I preferred Tomb Radier old school to the shooty uncharted.

What are you excited to play this year anyhow? You need to blog more dammit!

I can't imagine people buying new hardware again with the PS4 releasing a new version which already seems to be dividing sony fans. Nintendo trickles games out so slowly that it wont be worth purchasing new hardware from them for at least 2-3 years after launch. So I wont be buying NintendoNX for at least 2-3 years after launch, and only after I upgrade my PC first. Sorry Nintendo, but not this time.

I didn't dislike 2 at all like most people. I just didn't really like the shift away from shield defense in Bloodborne. It seems DS3 has the speed of Bloodborne, but I like playing through slowly with a shield. I don't hate Bloodborne, but I just prefer the slower paced Demon and DS1. So, Salt&Sanct feels more like the slow pace and exploration from DS1. I'm quite excited about Nioh, although it feels more fast paced like Bloodborne which has me worried.

I'm still alive, honest!

Well a bear came down from the hills into my neighborhood and caused quite a ruckus. It even got its very own Grand Theft Auto-like police and helicopter chase. Bear siting are rare around here. Actually, I've never seen a bear in my life, so it gave the neighborhood quite a scare. I was more afraid of idiots wanting to take cute selfies with it while chugging down their Starbucks milk shakes. Anyway, it was tranquilized and relocated deeper into the woods. Happy ending. I thought of you while all this was happening. Cool

It feels more like Dark Souls 1 than anything else. I'd even say that Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 deviated much too far from base Souls with the speed. This is more slow paced, metroidvania clone with weighty Souls combat. Its not just a knockoff, it feels like Souls.

Yes. I am finding this to be true. I had a hard time with a few bosses at first, but it was mostly because I had to let go of the block button to let stamina recharge before blocking again. It is very Soulsy in this way. I've beaten maybe 4-5 bosses so far and Im stuck at a dead end. I reached a castle where there is just a bottomless pit at the end. Not sure what to do. I probably have to re-explore other areas now to see if I missed something. The only boss that game me trouble so far was the Alchemist, but mostly because of the poison. I switched to a poison reducing gear and it was cake. Again, very souls like. Honestly, the Alchemist reminded me of a Bloodborne fight. It got very hectic with so many enemies being thrown at me, plus fire, lightning and poison slimes. I had to just get in and melee the fuck out of him and roll away, then repeat.
