History Books and Video Games

I went and shelf read a local used book store today, and I thought it was the best day ever.

I think I liked it, what I played of it. I got stuck trying to get past these guys wearing armor. I got to put it on easy when I return to it.

2018 Reading: Miscellany

I really want to work in a library or in a school. I'm going to start there. What they heck I'll do there, I still have to figure out.

Blog-a-Day Interest...BaD?

I need writing practice and the best advice I've heard is to write more. So I'm up for it. Also, you could literatlly post one word or an image. I have a funny idea for a BaD that is 30 words long. Ha ha. You don't get the whole message until the end.

My BaD-Sense is Tingling

I think that's why I get rid of all my books now. I want to keep buying them.

The library will take just about anything. I wish they would take magazines, because I love getting a box full of old mags like I got a few years ago with Dragon magazines.

I was wondering if anyone would mention BaD this year. Looks like I'll have to think of some darn thing. I'll be reading about the 1910s and probably be playing the first Red Dead Redemption which takes place in 1911. There's also Bioshock Infinite in that time space and every darn WWI game I can think of.

Those were some of my early introductions to classical music. I was especially into Copeland because Emerson, Lake and Palmer did a version of Hoedown.

A Ron Gilbert game. Which makes me think I should've played it because I like that guy. Looks like the sequel Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue is back compat on Xbox One. I'll have to look it up.

Battles with "fixes" and other misadventures

Honestly, I think there's some limit to the number of things a brain can keep track of at once. I've heard four. I feel like I'm pushing that boundary right now.
