I need to play that Asura's Wrath game too. Also Fists of the North Star series. Oh yea, and Anarchy Reigns (by the God Hand makers), and another one I can't remember the name right now but it has a guy with a talking sword. It'll come back to me.

Very cool. I've been getting into electronic music lately. I wonder why Wendy Carlos never got into video game music? Seems her work would go over well in this arena.
Yea. What a weird world where electric lights were the latest technology. We live in their scifi world.
I couldn't find one in the wild. All sold out. It's alright. I don't want to order online though. That could get dangerous for me. I've got to keep some barriers to spending, after all.
Right, Feb 2013 is when I switched over. I loved 1UP. I was there since 2010. I was listening to a lot of 1UP podcasts at the time. I remember looking at page stats telling me how many times a page was looked at. I never knew if it was real people or bots though.
I was looking at traditional games on Xbox the other day. I saw chess but couldn't bring myself to get it. Now, if it were battle chess, or star wars battle chess, that's another story. What would be excellent is a chess/rpg mashup. I want that.
I can't think of 360 and PS3 as retro quite yet. I want to hook them up right now but I don't have room, yet. I've got quite a backlog on both systems.
Horror fans should play Condemned: Criminal Origins. I'm not a horror fan but played it achievement hunting one year and really loved it. Fighting hand-to-hand in that game is really scary and visceral. Story is good too.
I saw it kind of on a whim. There's actually some quite disturbing stuff in Vice that I thought about later. It's definitely dark comedy.
I played the heck out of Valiant Hearts when it came out. I've considered replaying it. I think I'm missing one or two achievements. I think WWI starts in 1914.
On their Trilogy album, one of my favorites of theirs.
I was playing Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments on Xbox and it was surprisingly good. It was a little more than just a point-and-click adventure. I was thrilled to clean a photographic plate for one clue and put in a cylinder in a gramaphone to hear another one. The whole game is in the period and you ride in a carriage to get to different areas and to provide time for loading. I thought it was neat that while riding in the carriage you could look at your clues and form deductions. It's a great way to break things up and make loading sequences more bearable.
