La La Land and The Importance of Ambition

My favorite thing at Cheescake Factory is the fried macaroni and cheese balls.  Cheesecake Factory is kind of expensive, though.

I don't know who Emma Stone is.

My goal is to marry...hm, I don't know.  Who should I marry? :)

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Review

That's a very good review.  I might've missed it while reading, but I don't remember you mentioning anything about the cooking aspect.  Cooking is my favorite thing to do in that game.  It's why I've only beaten two of the four dungeons so far.  I've been calling the game Cooking Mama Link for that reason.  Zelda's going to be really mad at me for not hurrying it up!  I also like LInk's eating animations in the game.  By the time I get around to rescuing Zelda, Link's going to have a nice fat belly from all the food I've been making him eat!

Let's Talk Atari 2600, The First Few Years

I never had an Atari 2600 as a kid.  I wanted one, but I was pretty young and they were kind of expensive so I never asked my parents for one.  And once I was in kindergarten, we got our first computer, an Apple ][+, so I just played games on that.  At that age I was more interested in arcade games, which were much better than what was on the 2600.  And our computer could play arcade ports that were better than the ones on Atari 2600 anyway.  I did play the 2600 a lot at other people's houses, but I was still happy with our computer.  My first home console was actually the 5200, and that was a total surprise to get for Christmas as a kid because I didn't even ask for it.  But I think by then it was already old and on sale, but I didn't care, I was a kid.  I would continue playing that system until Zelda came out on the NES.  Then I was all aboard the Nintendo train!

Looking back on it, I think the best games on the 2600 were from Activision.  I think I may have asked this before, but have you ever played Activision Anthology on the PS2?  It's one of the best game collections out there, even to this day.

Speaking of Star Blazers, I watched that all the time as a kid.  Did you know that a few years ago, they remade that series in Japan (it's called Space Battleship Yamato over there).  I'd like to see more of the remake, I've only seen a couple of episodes of it, and that was at an anime convention I took my brothers to a few years ago.

Had Enough of Borderlands 2, Had Enough of Achievements

I like to look at achievements to see if there are any fun ones to get.  I don't go for the hard ones.

Hi - My Name is Blake and I'm a Crazy Cat Lady

When I was a kid, I had a Russian Blue cat named Chekov who loved to watch me play Nintendo games.  He would either swat at the screen or try to push the buttons on my controller.  He was a really smart cat, too.  I taught him how to play fetch, open doors, and use the toilet.  No lie.

Let's Talk Pong

Back in the 70's you could order parts to build your own electronics from a catalog called Heathkit.  My dad did that and built a metronome and our first TV!  When he built our TV, he added a Pong-like game console in the back, so if you wanted to play, all you had to do was pull out the controllers and turn it to channel 3 (or 2, can't remember).  Back then, I was so young that I didn't realize it was a video game.  I just thought it was something you could do when there wasn't anything else on TV.

On the original PSOne, there was a Pong update that was pretty cool.  It gave the paddles personalities, and you had to do some pretty creative things while playing Pong, like herding sheep!

Done with Achievements and Bravely Second

I got the first Bravely Default game.  It was fun at first but then kept adding more and more rules to the battles to where it was hard to understand.  Plus the game kind of meadandered a bit.  So I didn't get the sequel since I never finished the first.  Is it too much to ask for a simple RPG nowadays?  I hope the Switch RPG I'm reviewing soon, I Am Setsuna, stays simple and classic.

Fall of the Tomb Raider?

I'm thinking more like she should team up with Captain Toad.
