Nothing wrong with lurking, I lurked on 1up for almost a year before I actually wrote anything. If it hadn't been for my first two real friends on 1up, I wouldn't have become as involved as I did.
Ben, there's a lot to be said for a place that welcomes in strays, lol. And Nick was amazing getting that follow system in place so fast.

I'm just happy that we 1up refugees have a place to migrate to. Much as I will miss 1up, I am looking forward to becoming a part of the community here.
Thanks for the heads up about this place, Michael. I think we can migrate here and bring that sense of community with us. I liked the feel of the place when I checked it out yesterday, and to have the nice folks here rolling out the welcome mat for us, well, makes me feel good and like this will be as much a new home for me as my cottage is.
