I have one of the first SP models, back when the only colors were cobalt or silver. I really wanted one of the red ones, but I didn't want to wait, as I needed a handheld right now because I was going through gaming withdrawal while I was away at a three week law enforcement course. I still have it, it still works, but I've always wanted one of those spiffy pearl blue backlit ones. As for the PSP, geez, I wish I could find a 3000 for $50! Maybe I can get my brother to give me his...
Oh, and you can save your 1up blogs to your hard drive in a couple of ways. If you have Chrome or Firefox, there's a "save page as" feature. That's how I backed up all 426 of my blogs.

Looking forward to the Tomb Raider reboot, but I probably won't buy it for a while. I won't start pulling in paychecks again until the end of April and I'll be playing catch-up with the bills for a bit.

Nice to make your acquaintance, Surf. I, too, love older RPGs. I was pretty late to the party with console gaming, so I'm still playing catch-up from the PS1 on. Let's just say that if the game industry tanked tomorrow, I'd be set for the next several years without having to buy another game.
