Oh! Nice Firefly reference!!!
Oh! Nice Firefly reference!!!
You haven't played Journey yet?! It was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had playing a game. Enjoy it when you do get around to playing it.
I followed this game for two years before it released, because it sounded so interesting, The original title was Fahrenheit, by the way. I got stuck on one of those QTEs (the boxing one) and got frustrated and quit. Some day I will get back to it.
While I was reading this, I was thinking how much it reminded me of the original Prince of Persia, so I wasn't very surprised to find out that they were made by the same guy. Is it easier than PoP? I still haven't beaten that game...
Peter, Alundra was one of the first RPGs I got for my PS1, too. It reminds me of a Sega Genesis game called Landstalker.
Thanks, Andrew. I spent a chunk of time hanging out in arcades once we moved to Maine. There was a chain of drug stores called LaVerdier's that had arcades in the back, so just about every town that was big enough for its own drug store also had an arcade. I mostly watched other people play the video games and stuck to pinball myself, but I did spend my share of quarters on Qbert, Moon Patrol, Pacman, and Centipede.
Genesis had some tough games, too. I have only finished a small fraction of the Genesis games I own. I introduced one of my nephews to Genesis games a few summers ago with Sonic's UGC. His remark was: "wow, those old games are hard".
Not only has the ring system been used in action-rpgs, but the Ratchet & Clank games use it as well.
Hey Josh! Yeah, the gang's pretty much all here.
Matt, speak for yourself, lol!
I love getting game-related packages :)
