The Games of the Famicom Classic Edition

Yeah I think I have that one, too.  It's not done by the same people, though, so I don't think it's that good.

That's the great thing about River City Rumble is that it's not frustrating at all.  And it makes references to other games like Renegade and Double Dragon!  And it has a Dodge Ball mode, which is why I bought it (unforunately it's based on the third mode free-for-all in Super Dodge Ball which was kind of not good.  Speaking of which, have you ever played Super Dodge Ball?  I love that one!

I have no idea if my TV has any USB ports.  But I did get a plug with my SNES Classic so I just use that.

I never got into Tecmo Bowl, or any football game, realy.

I'm REALLY enjoying my SNES Classic, too.  I may break the rules this year and give it my Game of the Year Award.  Maybe.  Hope nobody objects too much to that. :)

Yeah Ninja Gaiden is hard.  I know my friend and I rented it a few times as kids, but I don' tthink we ever beat it.

I like River City Ransom, too.  I just don't like the clunky menus of the NES and GBA versions.  That's why I really enjoyed River City Rumble, as they fixed all that.  Have you ever played Super Dodge Ball?  That's my favorite game in the same series.

Time Warped: 1976

Taito is one of my favorite retro game companies.  They has as much history behind them as Nintendo and Namco do!  And they still make aswesome arcade and mobile games to this day!  (Groove Coaster, Arkanoid vs. Space Invaders, Bust-A-Move Journey, etc.).  I just wish Square-Enix would do more with them.

And what are you talking about 1976 not being a great year for gaming?  1976 was an AMAZING year for gaming.  Did you know a realy cool and awesome game reviewer was born that year?  You MIGHT have heard of him...maybe... :)

What an Overrated Concept

You folks must just have way smarter brains than I do.  I just don't think of complicated stuff like that.  I'm just like, "Duh, I like Super Metroid, it's awesome."

Golf Story and other Stuff

Well I never heard back from the folks at Golf Story so I guess I won't be reviewing it.  Oh well, that happens sometimes.  Maybe I'll download it myself later.  But not now.  Too many other games to play and review!

Have you done a blog about those Skylanders yet?  The Life element Superchargers?

With his armor and hammer, my brother Jeff called the Bowser Skylander "Cosplay Bowser."

So in the game, Bowser uses his hammer and breathes fire as you'd expect.  He also can send out Koopa Troopas and Dry Bones out to hone in on and attack enemies.

Do you have the Donkey Kong Skylander, too?
