New baby, big move...yeah, i guess we'll give you a pass on this one.
The storm seems to have gone out to sea before hitting the part of the coast of Maine where I live. We got a light dusting last night and that was all.
Like I told you earlier, I'm sorry to hear about Pentacle. I went through that two years ago myself. You did the right thing, not that it makes you feel any better right now.
Welcome to the neighborhood. Here, have some home-made coffee cake.
You are going to busy, lol. Yeah, I think I'm going to add my DS collection later today. I actuallyu have those out and on a shelf so I can get at them.
No two days are ever the same, which one reason why I love it. Most days usually start withh cleaning toilets and the picnic area, I do most of the maintenance on our equipment, everything from weedwhackers and chainsaws to our Kawasaki Mule, I do some very minor carpentry and plumbing, grounds work, trail maintenance, supervise volunteers, develop and give nature programs, some law enforcement, and I'm second in command, so on my boss's days off, I'm in charge. Not real fond of those days, myself.
My boyfriend in college used to watch the cartoon in between classes back in 1989/1990. I still have the cups from Burger King.
I'm a park ranger. I'm seasonal now, six months on, six months off and I love it. I was year-round for four years and I didn't love it. As a matter of fact, I was starting to hate it (supervisor issues and we'll leave it at that), hence the move back to seasonal. I once again love my job. In the off season, I work whatever I can find.
On days that I know I'm going to be stuck in the booth for extended periods of time, I sometimes take my DS to work with me. Other than that, I don't really have any down time at work.
