Well, the other day I tried again at level 20 and no go. So Mark joined and we beat it down pretty good. Then we played at lot more in co-op. It was a blast. This game has fierce fighting. It's pretty fun and will make you sweat.
I think it was out in '87 when I was at college. I missed the whole NES and SNES times.

It took me a bit to get used to. I think there are so many new complexities worked into the skill tree, equipment and map that it's become really dense. I'm still trying to figure out what Trinkets on equipment do.
I came across those and some other terms once reading about cabinets, but I didn't feel like looking them up again. To actually do a good journalistic job on something takes a lot of research and fact checking, as you probably know. I'm not up to it right now.
I don't remember ever seeing Mario Bros in the arcades. Too bad for me.
