We had entire arsenals of realistic-looking cap guns as kids. My mom used to buy them for me, along with the caps, plus we had my uncles' hand-me-downs.
Never played a light-gun game, though.

Been there, done that. The biggest thing to put you on the road to recovery is what you've already done: identify the problem. Doesn't hurt to have someone to talk to, either.
Have fun!
Took me forever to find a copy, and the one I got is missing the manual. I went searching for it for the same reason Peter did, it's the prequel to Shadow Hearts, which shares favorite game status with DQ8 with me.
I'm the serious gamer in the relationship. Jay likes game OK, but his preferred genre are strategy games. Although, he seems to have gotten into Pinball lately, and I might see if he wants to play Gears of War with me some evening.
Thanks, Wayde! Feel free to raise a glass of juice to toast me, I like juice.
I'm the opposite, I have no issues paying for a Gold membership, but I think that Plus is kind of a waste of my money. You don't get to keep those "free" games, you're pretty much just renting them while you're paying for the service. I also have fewer issues getting bounced off Live than I do PSN. I'm not saying one is necessarily better than the other, on just works better for me, personally.
Snee taught me how to do it. You go to YouTube, click share, click embed, copy the text, paste it in the body of your blog and post. Then go back in with edit and repost. If they don't show up, hit your refresh button.
River King A Wonderful Journey. It's a PS2 game I downloaded from PSN. Leeradical42 blogged about it and mentioned it in my "Is Combat Really Necessary" blog entry, so I figured I'd give it a shot. It's a pretty cool game, even if I can't manage to land just a plain old salmon so that mean girl will let me though to the next area!
I think we may have gotten more snow from that storm than you did. Good news is, it's stopped, the sun is out, and that white crap appears to be melting fast.
As for FFV, I got to the final battle and kept getting my butt kicked and quit in frustration. I really need to go back and finish it.
