On a previous Genesis collection I played Phantasy Star I-IV. I didn't get far in I-III but when I got to IV, I started to actually get through it.

SRPGs are like chess but with role playing, adventure and a story. I was never good at chess though.
That tv show sounds neat, but I hardly ever watch tv anymore. I'm too busy gaming.
Dewey Decimal 794 - indoor games of skill. Should be in every library and include books on video games.
We recently lost a book I started called Masters of Doom about the making of Doom. I went back to take it out again to finish it and someone had it and never returned it. I hope we get a replacement copy sometime. I'm watching to see how long it takes just for curiosity sake.
I'm pretty sure there are several books on video games I've heard about that aren't in our collection. So, I may suggest the library buy some to increase the collection. I feel like I'm taking a personal interest in expanding this section in my library.
Ace Attorney is on PS4. Interesting. I noticed some other DS games on there too. One was Lock's Quest. I got it on a sale even though I already have it on DS. It's a remastered version and I like playing on tv more anyway.
I watched an episode of 911 the other day. HD really wigs me out. I don't watch much tv anymore, so I guess I'm not used to it still.
I saw the Starlink starter pack at BestBuy today, but what caught my eye more was this:
Valkyria Chronicles 4 collectors edition. $99 though, so I didn't get it. I wanted to though.
The campaign mode is a kind of tutorial for the game, but it's not done very well. It might be from a bad translation. It's a German game isn't it?
I think the visual design is very good for console play.Controls are confusing though. It's like the button layout changes depending on what mode you are in and it's not always displayed on screen. It drives me a little crazy. Mark's doing well in free-play mode though. Campaign is really picky about where you have to build things and not well explained.
I loved them when it first came out, but now I'm less impressed. I don't know though. I may like it more when I get farther into the game.
I never get very far in them, but I love the SRPG style.
That's really cool that old school side quest. One day i'll get a Switch, I hope.
I played Bastion on PS4 recently. Bought it on a sale. I really liked it. I should go back and replay to unlock everything.
