Cool. I'm kind of surprised there were so many game ads in '83.

Cool, man, congratulatioins!
I've never played a Ys game, though I have enjoyed plenty of the series' good music. Sounds like you've played the other ones on the PSP. Which one did you enjoy the most?
Once again you highlight an obscure Japanese game I've never heard...and you make me want to play it. You said there are 35 different quests. Do you have to do all of them to complete the game or are some of them optional side missions? Or do you just have to do a certain number? Sounds interesting either way. I'll keep an eye out for this one.
Yeah, people complain about JRPGs being linear but I like that about JRPGs. And I'd rather have a well-defined, premade character to play as than one I make myself. Never really been a fan of that in Western RPGs.
I'm not one for open world RPGs either but you do make it sound pretty interesting. My wife rented this when it first came out but didn't like it much. But maybe if we find Dark Arisen for cheap enough, we could give it another go.
Are you reviewing Project X Zone? I'm interested in that game but I haven't heard much about it other than the basic premise.
I'm not sure how much content it has. I haven't started it yet because I decided to play PaRappa first (which turned out to be quite difficult). It's hard to argue with a $5 price tag, though, and if you get it I'd be happy to play with you
Yeah, I can't actually play it yet because I don't have a Vita lol. I didn't realize there was a 3DS release though.
I'm not real big into fighting games but I figured hey, one day when I get a Vita I can try it out lol
